"In Prison, At Least I Had You" Book Cover
For this project, I was tasked to create the book cover for a song. I chose Street Sect's "In Prison, At Least I Had You", a brutal yet melancholic song. I utilized the band's album cover motifs in my design, including the sickle and chicken. The character is the band's singer, Leo Ashline, in my Saul Bass-esque style. The lines the sickle creates are in reference to both prison clothes as well as the concept in film that striped clothing signifies a deviant character.
