In late 2022, I was commissioned to create the album cover for a coworker's single titled "R-Rated." He asked for a sort of 80's porno cowboy theme. I took time and had fun designing the outfit for the theme. When coloring, I used a sensual pink-purple-red palette for the mood. For the background I utilized a photograph of a honeymoon bedroom and added a VHS effect for the vintage look. I formatted the text and little heart portraits to simulate the look of a magazine cover. Working on this cover helped me better figure out my own art process that'd help me in future art projects.
